About the role
- Blend visionary product strategy with hands-on project execution
- Collaborate with product development, sales, and marketing to define and maintain the product roadmap
- Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product decisions
- Define product requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, feasibility, and customer needs
- Partner with design and product development to ensure products meet both aesthetic and functional standards
- Monitor product performance using analytics, customer feedback, and key metrics to inform continuous improvement
- Lead end-to-end project management for product development initiatives, from concept through production and market release
- Lead project planning sessions, define scope, and set milestones to ensure timely delivery
- Create detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with product development cycles
- Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Program or Project Management
- Previous experience in product development
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday) and product analysis software (i.e. Excel)
- Experience in consumer products, furniture, or manufacturing industries is preferred
- Knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and sewing production processes is preferred
- PMP or similar project management certification is preferred
- Experience leading a team and/or managing people a plus
