About the role
- Perform month-end close activities such as journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations in accordance with the close schedule.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for annual external audits and internal reviews
- Support internal control processes and help maintain policy adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve reporting accuracy
- Take on special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or University in Accounting is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Construction, or Land/Real Estate Development industry is required.
- Prior experience with Sage Intacct is preferred.
- Must have a strong analytical approach and a willingness to problem‑solve as issues arise.
- Must have a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a close‑knit accounting team.
- Intermediate Excel skills (comfortable with functions, lookups, and multi‑sheet workbooks).
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to balance ongoing tasks with deadlines.
