About the role
- Support configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, focusing on Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), and revenue recognition workflows.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Sales Operations, and IT to understand business needs and help implement scalable, compliant solutions.
- Contribute to the design and execution of system enhancements, integrations, and custom reporting, including those related to automated revenue recognition and revenue event processing.
- Assist in the development and documentation of controls and procedures in alignment with SOX compliance and IT General Controls (ITGCs).
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of ERP changes, working alongside other team members and external partners.
- Resolve end-user issues promptly, and implement long-term solutions to enhance system reliability and performance to enhance System Optimization, Collaboration, Compliance and Support.
- Provide day-to-day support to end users by troubleshooting system issues and recommending long-term fixes.
- Support financial close activities by ensuring data integrity and timely availability of key reports and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with external Oracle support and consultants to resolve escalated issues as needed.
- Help maintain detailed system documentation, test cases, and training materials.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Oracle ERP, business systems analysis, or similar roles at an enterprise-level company.
- Strong functional and technical experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, including GL, AP, AR, Procurement, and Revenue Management.
- Hands-on experience with revenue automation solutions, such as Oracle Revenue Management Cloud (RMCS), Zuora Revenue or custom automated revenue workflows.
- Solid understanding of P2P and Q2C business cycles and their cross-functional dependencies.
- Familiarity with accounting principles, revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606), and finance operations.
- Experience supporting SOX compliance and maintaining effective IT General Controls.
- Skilled in Oracle tools such as SQL, OTBI, FBDI, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties).
