Manage application release trains for delivery of prioritized business functionality.
Hold upstream product teams accountable for input quality and on-time delivery of requirements; partner with them to drive end-to-end efficiency.
Guide the teams in building delivery strategies that anticipate risks and improve quality and predictability of delivery.
Drive technical delivery excellence and efficiency through modern delivery techniques, including pipeline automation and AI-aided productivity.
Ensure that non-functional requirements are in place and comply with relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices, particularly in compliance, security, reliability, and performance.
Facilitate and resolve schedule and budget challenges that arise as requirements change or technical roadblocks interfere with delivery.
Solve problems in a way that balances time to business value, program priorities, and technical team efficiency.
Engage with operations teams to support recently launched functionality, coordinating defect prioritization and prioritizing product change requests.
Advise business partners on technical solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; Master’s or relevant advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally within a subscription industry.
Implementation experience with high-volume, low-latency data pipelines in cloud environments; hands-on implementation experience with identity and access management (IAM) platforms (e.g. ForgeRock/Ping, Okta) mature full-stack development and team management experience.
Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, empathy, and support.
Expertise in project management and development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and tools (e.g., Jira).
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic, data-driven approach to decision-making.
May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data.
