About the role
- Manage and maintain core identity, access, and device management platforms including Okta, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf.
- Set up and support servers, networks, user accounts, and lab/R&D environments to keep systems secure, stable, and scalable.
- Strengthen security posture through proactive patching, monitoring, incident response, and administration of tools like Microsoft Defender, Rapid7, and Automox.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents end-to-end, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventative improvements.
- Define and document best practice standards for application deployment, infrastructure management, and SharePoint governance.
- Support teams across the organisation by ensuring seamless operation of desktops, SaaS tools, networks, and workplace technology.
Requirements
- Proven expertise as a Systems Administrator, with hands-on experience managing modern identity, access, and device management environments.
- Strong administration experience across the Microsoft 365 stack, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Conditional Access, and compliance/security tooling.
- Proficiency with SharePoint Online, covering site structure, access, governance, and M365 integration.
- Solid networking knowledge, including switches, VLANs, firewalls, WiFi, cabling standards, and troubleshooting across on prem and cloud connected environments.
- Working experience with Azure, particularly in identity, security, monitoring, and resource management in a hybrid cloud setup.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience within the technology industry is desirable.
