About the role

  • Manage and maintain core identity, access, and device management platforms including Okta, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf.
  • Set up and support servers, networks, user accounts, and lab/R&D environments to keep systems secure, stable, and scalable.
  • Strengthen security posture through proactive patching, monitoring, incident response, and administration of tools like Microsoft Defender, Rapid7, and Automox.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents end-to-end, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventative improvements.
  • Define and document best practice standards for application deployment, infrastructure management, and SharePoint governance.
  • Support teams across the organisation by ensuring seamless operation of desktops, SaaS tools, networks, and workplace technology.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise as a Systems Administrator, with hands-on experience managing modern identity, access, and device management environments.
  • Strong administration experience across the Microsoft 365 stack, including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Conditional Access, and compliance/security tooling.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint Online, covering site structure, access, governance, and M365 integration.
  • Solid networking knowledge, including switches, VLANs, firewalls, WiFi, cabling standards, and troubleshooting across on prem and cloud connected environments.
  • Working experience with Azure, particularly in identity, security, monitoring, and resource management in a hybrid cloud setup.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience within the technology industry is desirable.
