About the role
- Ensure the product's quality and reliability
- Track defects, prioritize fixes and schedule tickets
- Collect, analyze and prioritize issues from support and QA
- Maintain and prioritize a quality backlog (bugs, technical debt, minor improvements)
- Define and monitor quality KPIs (bug rate, SLAs, resolution time, regressions)
- Write clear, complete tickets for developers
- Collaborate with QA and Dev to validate incidents before fixes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product quality processes
- Participate in product rituals (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
Requirements
- 7–8 years' experience as a PO, QA, or proxy-PO with a quality focus
- Ability to work in a SaaS/digital product environment with a high volume of incidents
- Organized, rigorous, with strong cross-team communication skills
- Good technical fluency (not necessarily a developer)
- Basic SQL: able to investigate a bug using simple queries
- Prioritization & scheduling: familiar with MoSCoW / RICE methods
- Product delivery: solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Ticketing & communication: ability to write precise, understandable tickets
- KPI & data-driven culture: able to set up quality indicators
- User empathy & UX: understand the impact of bugs on user experience
