About the role

  • Manage new store development, relocations, and market optimization within the region
  • Lead negotiations with landlords, developers, municipalities, and external partners to secure favorable outcomes
  • Leverage existing regional relationships to accelerate opportunities and deepen market intelligence
  • Conduct financial and real estate analysis to support recommendations and business cases
  • Partner with Construction, Finance, Legal, Store Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment
  • Maintain accurate documentation, deal tracking, and pipeline forecasting
  • Travel multiple times per month for market tours, site visits, and partner meetings both in market and on a national scale
  • Represent DICK’S Sporting Goods professionally in the marketplace

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success representing retail or consumer brands comparable in size, scale, and brand notoriety to DICK’S Sporting Goods
  • Existing familiarity with and professional credibility, including standing relationships with landlords, brokers, and developers
  • Proven track record negotiating complex, high‑value real estate transactions with disciplined, company‑first decision‑making
  • Experience supporting multi‑unit, multi‑state retail market strategies
  • Strong financial, analytical, and real estate acumen
  • Experience collaborating across large, matrixed organizations
