About the role

Serve as the in-store expert for Team Sports and execute brand standards
Deliver excellent customer service and provide direction to teammates
Support hiring by observing in-store interviews and department tours
Build a people-first culture and connect with every teammate to build trust and respect
Plan, organize, and control 30-days out with guidance from Assistant Store Manager
Strategically leverage teammates to meet brand standards and execute programs/processes
Uphold merchandising and presentation standards including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment
Assist store leadership with general supervision and training/onboarding of teammates
Provide hands-on coaching and teach the rationale behind tasks and processes
Create an inclusive and safe store environment for teammates and customers
Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures
Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays
Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively (up to 25 times per hour)
Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform
Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)
