About the role
- Lead the day-to-day planning activities for all raw materials supporting global manufacturing operations
- Drive alignment to long term strategic roadmap for raw materials ensuring that supplier capacity is aligned to growth plans
- Responsible for raw material forecasting and inventory management
- Define and report on supplier production plans to ensure raw material supply meets Insulet’s growth objectives
- Manage and resolve all component availability issues that may impact target inventory levels or production requirements
- Develop and leverage all demand and supply analytic tools
Requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- MBA preferred, but not required
- 10+ years prior supply chain management experience
- Experience in managing/leading team of people, and ability to change dynamic work environment a plus
- Ability to work effectively with vendors, finance, marketing, R&D, packaging, and manufacturing teams
