About the role
- Set Up New Part Costs within SAP
- Support/execute the annual cost roll process
- Provide Analysis of Change related to material and overhead cost structures
- Review and Analyze variances to standard costs in support of the Capitalized Variance (FIFO) process
- Prepare and Reconcile Excess and Obsolete Inventory Reserve on a quarterly basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (CPA/CMA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in cost accounting and financial analysis within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP, standard costing, and inventory accounting
- Proficient in ERP systems; experience with SAP is a plus
- Advanced Excel and other data analysis tools and strong analytical capabilities
