About the role

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive UX research strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX researchers across qualitative and quantitative disciplines.
  • Advocate for the voice of the user across cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of user research studies including usability testing, ethnographic research, surveys, and data analysis.
  • Translate complex user behaviors and needs into actionable insights.
  • Ensure research findings are effectively communicated and integrated into product roadmaps.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize research initiatives and influence product strategy.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and empathy across the organization.
  • Promote best practices in research methodologies, tools, and ethics.
  • Build scalable research operations including participant recruitment, tooling, and knowledge management.
  • Monitor and report on research impact and ROI to executive leadership.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in UX and user research.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in UX research, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic impact through user insights.
  • Expertise in a wide range of research methods and tools.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments.
  • Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field preferred.
