About the role
- Drive execution and contribute to planning the roadmap for patient safety and clinical support services.
- Design and evolve modular solutions that detect clinical risks and enable proactive response.
- Define configurable, modular microservices that power patient and provider experiences across Dexcom’s global ecosystem.
- Identify key data inputs and support integration efforts to enable AI-driven insights and clinical decision support.
- Partner with engineering, clinical, regulatory, legal, commercial, data science, and other teams to deliver safe, compliant, and globally scalable solutions.
- Ensure insights are surfaced in intuitive, meaningful ways that support user goals and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with research and clinical teams to validate impact through evidence-based insights.
- Monitor usage, gather feedback from providers and internal stakeholders, and iterate to improve usability, adoption, and clinical effectiveness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management or a closely related role (Product Management Background).
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience; a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated success translating complex clinical or operational workflows into intuitive, scalable digital solutions.
- Experience partnering with engineering, design, clinical, regulatory, legal, and commercial teams.
- Hands-on experience working in regulated domains such as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or HIPAA-compliant platforms.
- Preferred: Experience contributing to SaMD or Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tools, including regulatory submissions or validation processes.
- Preferred: Applied knowledge of AI/ML in healthcare and addressing bias, transparency, and evidence-based validation.
- Familiarity with privacy & interoperability standards (HIPAA, GDPR, FHIR).
- Experience supporting international or enterprise-scale products, including localization, regional compliance, and multi-market deployment.
- Exposure to modern software architectures (microservices, APIs, cloud-native).
- Experience defining product requirements for clinical workflows and data-driven services; familiarity with data pipelines and APIs.
- Demonstrated systems-level product thinking and data-driven product development.
- Ability to monitor usage, gather feedback, and iterate to improve usability and clinical effectiveness.
- Travel availability: 5-15%.
