About the role

  • Operate FinOps routines aligned with the Inform, Optimize and Operate cycle.
  • Establish and maintain cost governance: tagging, allocation, showback/chargeback where applicable, and usage policies.
  • Identify optimization opportunities and monitor execution with relevant teams.
  • Produce periodic executive reports: cost trends, main drivers, variances, cost savings, risks and action plans.
  • Define and track FinOps KPIs.
  • Act as the interface between technology and business/finance areas.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in FinOps/cloud financial management on Azure and AWS; OCI desirable.
  • Ability to consolidate consumption and cost data and turn it into insights and an action plan.
  • Experience in executive communication and building clear, concise, decision-oriented reports.
  • FinOps certification (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner/Professional).
