About the role

  • As the first point of contact, you respond to all visitor inquiries by phone and email
  • Your friendly and professional guidance ensures museum visitors have no unresolved organizational questions
  • You advise teachers, group leaders and tour operators on the museum's educational offerings, and enter time-slot tickets and guided tours into our booking software
  • You serve as the team's point of contact for questions, problems or organizational matters
  • You plan staff schedules and coordinate task assignments
  • You are responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards in customer communication
  • You act as the interface between customer service, sales and operations management
  • You create guidelines, workflows and internal documents to ensure service quality

Requirements

  • Completed commercial/vocational training or several years of professional experience
  • Experience in customer service
  • Ideally, experience coordinating and leading a small team
  • A structured and focused working style when using our digital systems
  • Strong communication skills and a high customer- and service-orientation
  • Willingness to work on public holidays and weekends when required
  • Very good German and good English skills
