About the role
- As the first point of contact, you respond to all visitor inquiries by phone and email
- Your friendly and professional guidance ensures museum visitors have no unresolved organizational questions
- You advise teachers, group leaders and tour operators on the museum's educational offerings, and enter time-slot tickets and guided tours into our booking software
- You serve as the team's point of contact for questions, problems or organizational matters
- You plan staff schedules and coordinate task assignments
- You are responsible for maintaining and improving quality standards in customer communication
- You act as the interface between customer service, sales and operations management
- You create guidelines, workflows and internal documents to ensure service quality
Requirements
- Completed commercial/vocational training or several years of professional experience
- Experience in customer service
- Ideally, experience coordinating and leading a small team
- A structured and focused working style when using our digital systems
- Strong communication skills and a high customer- and service-orientation
- Willingness to work on public holidays and weekends when required
- Very good German and good English skills
