Design, implement, and operate Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Online in alignment with enterprise standards.
Act as the technical bridge between Self-Service BI teams and governed Azure Lakehouse backends, enabling secure and reliable analytics solutions.
Configure and manage Power BI Service and Desktop environments, including workspaces, datasets, gateways, refresh schedules, and capacity planning.
Establish and enforce governance, security, and lifecycle management standards across Power Platform solutions, covering access control, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Cloud Data & Analytics services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, dbt, and CDC frameworks.
Manage identity and access using Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, service principals, and secure data connections.
Monitor platform usage, performance, cost efficiency, and data reliability, proactively identifying optimization opportunities.
Diagnose and resolve platform incidents in collaboration with engineering, governance, and operations teams.
Manage and optimize data refresh cycles to ensure trusted and consistent analytics outputs.
Develop and maintain platform documentation, operational playbooks, and governance guidelines.
Coach and enable self-service BI teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate in agile, international environments (SAFe, Scrum) with cross-functional teams.
Support audits, governance reviews, and enterprise BI compliance initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence across the analytics platform.

Requirements

degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred)
strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform – Expert level
experience with Power BI Service & Desktop (workspaces, datasets, gateways, refresh management) – Expert
experience with Power Apps (low-code application development) – Advanced
experience with Power Automate (workflow automation and integrations) – Advanced
experience with SharePoint Online, including permissions and integrations – Advanced
solid experience with Cloud Data & Analytics platforms on Azure – Advanced
strong understanding of Azure governance, identity, and security concepts – Advanced
hands-on experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, service principals, and access control – Advanced
experience integrating analytics solutions with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, dbt, and CDC frameworks – Intermediate to Advanced
experience operating and supporting analytics platforms, including monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization – Advanced
strong knowledge of data refresh cycles, data reliability, and cost-efficient platform operations
strong governance and compliance mindset, including security, privacy, lifecycle management, and audit support
excellent analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills, proactive ownership, and continuous improvement mindset
strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
experience working in agile, international environments (SAFe, Scrum) and cross-functional teams
speak English – Upper-Intermediate (B2) mandatory; German – basic knowledge is an advantage
