About the role

  • Lead the design and evolution of fullstack systems across frontend and backend.
  • Drive architectural decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Promote high standards in code quality, testing, security, and observability.
  • Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and key design decisions.
  • Mentor and support engineers through continuous feedback and coaching.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support career development and technical growth.
  • Partner with Product and Design to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Lead planning and execution using Agile methodologies.
  • Balance speed and quality in a startup context.
  • Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and workflows.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their impact.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or Engineering Manager in fullstack environments.
  • Strong frontend expertise with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • Solid backend experience with Golang and/or Python.
  • Experience designing APIs and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Native or fluent English.
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience working in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or financial platforms is a plus.
