About the role
- Supports in the delivery of Destination BC’s brand marketing and brand strategy programs
- Conducting desktop research to support the development of annual brand plans
- Project coordination and contribution on brand strategy projects and integrated brand marketing programs
- Assists with the planning and delivery of brand strategy and brand marketing projects
- Supports brand research projects to inform the annual strategic brand planning process
- Develops communications materials to raise awareness of Destination BC’s brand marketing programs and tourism industry partner opportunities
Requirements
- Currently working towards a diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, public relations, media studies, or a related field
- Co-op students must be enrolled in a recognized co-operative education program at an accredited co-op institution
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada for the duration of the co-op term
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Preference for interest in developing project coordination or project management skills.
