About the role
- Monitor the internal control system
- Ensure that supervisory controls are completed, and be responsible for execution quality
- Complete certain supervisory controls and reporting
- Liaise with relevant Desjardins components
- Support the senior compliance officer in monitoring activities for the distribution of investment products and reporting, if applicable
- Manage activities related to operational risk, including risk and control self-assessment, the input of operational losses, the business continuity plan and information security
- Help managers identify and implement corrective measures
- Ensure that activities related to money laundering and terrorist financing legislation (PCMLTFA) are carried out
- Comply with policies, practices and standards, as well as legislation governing the distribution of financial products and services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
