About the role
- Independently carry a case load of litigation files, from start to finish
- Support insurance defence litigators through hands-on legal research and drafting key documents
- Prepare memoranda and shadow litigation proceedings
- Provide general support across the legal team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Currently enrolled in accredited program to obtain a law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from a Canadian University
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency of English
- Intermediate knowledge in legal research and computer literacy
- Intermediate knowledge in civil litigation and advocacy
- Intermediate knowledge in insurance law
