About the role

  • Design IT solutions to meet project business needs using Desjardins Group’s architecture targets and shared platforms
  • Ensure compatibility and consistency with the organization's structure and future needs
  • Influence business partners and stakeholders on strategic, complex and innovative solution architecture initiatives
  • Provide extensive expertise across data, applications, security and infrastructure
  • Produce specialized deliverables for high operational and conceptual complexity projects
  • Act as architecture team member and specialized advisor on application solutions and operations architecture
  • Integrate and coordinate one or more delivery teams for impactful projects and initiatives
  • Advise business partners on planning, development, configuration, execution and monitoring of technology solutions
  • Oversee development of policies and standards considering data, application, security and infrastructure needs
  • Identify, analyze, and diagnose potential IT solutions and issues; report major issues to decision-making bodies
  • Represent the unit before decision-making bodies and in agreements with external partners
  • Serve as resource person and coach for decision-making bodies and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
