About the role

  • Architect and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Purview, and Azure services
  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and roadmap development with stakeholders ranging from technical teams to C-level executives
  • Represent the organization at conferences, webinars, and community events
  • Publish blogs, whitepapers, and contribute to the broader data community
  • Mentor junior consultants and architects
  • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to ensure successful client engagements and solution adoption
  • Stay ahead of Microsoft Fabric updates and roadmap
  • Prototype new capabilities and contribute to internal IP and solution accelerators

Requirements

  • 8+ years in data architecture, analytics, or BI roles
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related services
  • Deep knowledge of Power BI, OneLake, Lakehouse architecture, Dataflows Gen2, Real-Time Analytics, and Notebooks
  • Strong understanding of Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 integrations
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git integration, and deployment automation
  • Proven success in client-facing roles, including strategy and delivery
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
  • Bonus points for Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft MVP or MCT designation
  • Experience integrating AI/ML into Fabric workflows
  • Bilingual (English/French)
  • Familiarity with Canadian data residency and compliance regulations (e.g., PIPEDA)
