About the role
- Support the manager by providing diligent, structured and effective leadership to a team of 12 professionals
- Ensure optimal planning and ongoing monitoring of mandates
- Foster engagement and create an engaging work environment
- Ensure Business operational risk governance by supporting business lines in understanding risks
- Coordinate multiple files simultaneously and interact with stakeholders across fields
- Meet targets on time and on budget, manage results and quality
- Participate in hiring, performance management and skills development of employees
- Continuously monitor the portfolio and market and ensure action plans are implemented if targets aren’t met
- Address and communicate changes constructively and motivate the team
- Promote teamwork and ensure alignment with risk partners in the first, second and third lines of defence
- Monitor market trends and external changes affecting operational risk management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, including at least three years in a team management, coordination or supervision role
- Experience in operational risk
- Experience writing at the executive level
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of the banking sector
