About the role
- Define and execute data engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
- Design and oversee enterprise-level data architecture decisions for cloud infrastructure
- Provide technical leadership for complex data infrastructure projects
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-8 data engineers
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with data protection regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- At least 9 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect or related roles
- Experience working on Snowflake or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or MS Azure
- Proficiency in Talend or similar tool for complex ETL workflows
- Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, stored procedures, etc.
- Python with experience in data manipulation libraries and PySpark
- Understanding of REST API, building and consuming APIs for data ingestion
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar environments
