About the role
- Conduct market analysis and industry and competitive intelligence research to identify business development and go-to-market opportunities
- investigate and develop information to assist lawyers with targeted outreach and relationship-building initiatives
- Collect, draft, and maintain matter and deal summaries and representative experience
- Maintain and update core pitch materials and marketing collateral
- Draft and complete awards and rankings submissions
- Maintain tracking systems for deal activity
- Collaborate with practice group leaders and lawyers to develop and execute strategic business development
- Provide support to lawyers in the creation, preparation, and coordination of RFPs, proposals, and pitches
- Work with cross-functional teams to create, develop, and distribute thought leadership
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing and business development experience in a professional services industry
- preference given to law firm experience
- Ideal candidate will be a results-oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong professional presence
- strong writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficiency with AI-driven tools and CRM systems
- experience using marketing automation and analytical tools
