About the role

  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes
  • Monitor progress and ensure reliable execution aligned with Operations objectives
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives, especially in collaboration with Product and Engineering
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver strategic and operational projects end-to-end
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Maintain transparency on progress and manage changes effectively
  • Manage and support an Operations Data Analyst
  • Use data and reporting tools to identify trends, support decision-making, and measure performance
  • Define and track metrics to evaluate product features and operational improvements
  • Regularly review performance data and recommend optimisation measures
  • Design and implement processes that foster innovation and continuous improvement
  • Support the adoption of new technologies, including AI and automation, to improve efficiency and decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation and improved workflows
  • Act as a liaison between Operations (especially Customer Support and Claims) and Product & Engineering teams
  • Support operations strategy with market research, competitive analysis, and operational feasibility assessments
  • Ensure Operations teams are equipped to work effectively with new product features
  • Occasionally develop or support training initiatives on new (insurance) product features and best practices
  • Occasionally facilitate workshops or alignment meetings
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across departments
  • Occasionally prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations
  • Support transparent stakeholder updates on progress and key changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience in strategic operations, business analysis, or product management or 2+ years of experience in consulting
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Comfort working with data and deriving actionable insights
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes is a plus
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI and automation
  • Fluency in English and German
