About the role

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the SEO team, fostering technical growth, autonomy, and high performance;
  • Define and execute the SEO strategy for e-commerce, covering categories, products, content, technical SEO, and on-page/off-page SEO;
  • Work collaboratively with Paid Media, Content, CRO, UX, CRM, Category Management, Branding, Product, and Technology teams to ensure strategic alignment;
  • Lead well-structured SEO projects (addressing information architecture, crawl budget, indexing, structured data, performance, etc.);
  • Establish, monitor, and report SEO KPIs with a business focus (qualified traffic, revenue, conversion, visibility share, and channel efficiency);
  • Analyze data and translate technical insights into clear strategic recommendations for stakeholders;
  • Work with GEO/AEO, ensuring optimization for traditional search engines and AI-based mechanisms (featured snippets, direct answers, conversational search);
  • Ensure technical best practices with the technology team, participating in discussions and prioritization;
  • Stay up to date on SEO trends, e-commerce, and AI applied to search and digital marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) preferred in Marketing, Advertising, Technology, Data, or related fields.
  • Experience managing a team;
  • Strong expertise in technical, on-page, off-page, and strategic SEO applied to e-commerce;
  • Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Semrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, PageSpeed, Google Search Console, GA4, and others;
  • Solid knowledge of KPIs, business metrics, and organic performance analysis;
  • Experience with GEO/AEO and optimization for AI-based search mechanisms;
  • Technical understanding of web languages and structures such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic concepts), sufficient to communicate effectively with technology teams.
