• Coordinating National Convention standing committees and related operations
• Helping staff the four standing committees of the DNC, including scripts, reports, talking points, and materials
• Overseeing the logistics and management of the Leadership Department
• Serving as an in-house resource on the Party’s Charter and Bylaws as well as bylaws of the DNC’s Caucuses and Councils, including audits and updates
• Planning, scheduling, and executing preparation meetings with the Co-Chairs of each Standing Committee
• Coordinating with other departments and staff within the DNC

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Manage a regional schedule and trip calendar for meetings and events with internal and external principals.
• Write briefing materials for internal and external meetings.
• Develop meeting agendas.
• Update weekly reports.
• Facilitate vetting processes for donors, surrogates, and event venues.
• Manage regional donor databases and lists.
• Oversee regional call time and email blasts.
• Travel and staff surrogates at DNC meetings and events as needed.
• Support the Tri-State Finance Team with administrative and writing tasks.
• Coordinate with internal DNC departments on behalf of the regional team.
• Assist with donor prospecting, outreach, and maintenance as appropriate.

Finance Associate

Manager

• Create multiple, high-performing videos each week for TikTok
• Constantly track performance data and share learnings with the digital team
• Independently oversee the production of videos from initial idea to publishing
• Keep up with platform trends and constantly come up with new, high-potential ideas
• Work with members of the video and social team to brainstorm new concepts, create a release schedule, and establish benchmarks for success
• Pitching, directing, and editing videos for Democratic elected officials
• Cover events, such as rallies and town halls
• Film explainers and breaking news react videos for DNC Tiktok
• Film selfie-style content and explainer videos
• Establish effective ways to use footage from live streams, press conferences, and events, as well as news coverage, to create high-performing videos
• Significantly grow the DNC’s TikTok accounts

Vertical Platforms Manager

• Assist South Finance Director in overseeing major donor fundraising efforts in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas
• Create and implement a region-specific finance plan and support execution of principal and surrogate travel and fundraising events
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with top donors in the region
• Identify hosts and execute events with principals and surrogates in the region
• Provide support for execution of travel in the region including scheduling donor meetings and creating briefing memos
• Assist in the execution of fundraising events in the region
• Assist the Regional Finance Director in maintaining donor relationships
• Perform research to identify prospective new major donors and re-engage lapsed donors
• Create and manage a tracking system for all donors
• Create and manage a finance email program to keep major donors informed and engaged
• Provide support to the Regional Finance Director as needed
• Based in Washington, DC and reports directly to the South Finance Director
