About the role
- As an Air Traffic Controller at Demo Company, you will be responsible for managing the safe and efficient flow of air traffic in the designated airspace.
- You will communicate with pilots and other air traffic control personnel to provide instructions and ensure compliance with regulations, while also monitoring weather conditions and resolving potential conflicts.
- Coordinate and provide clear instructions to pilots during takeoff, landing, and taxiing to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage air traffic within assigned sectors, utilizing radar and other tracking systems.
- Communicate effectively with other air traffic controllers and personnel to relay important information and updates.
- Resolve potential traffic conflicts by making real-time decisions based on air traffic conditions and regulations.
- Maintain awareness of weather conditions and their potential impact on flight operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an air traffic controller in a busy air traffic control environment.
- Valid air traffic controller certification from a recognized authority.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with pilots and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using radar, communication systems, and other relevant technology in air traffic control.
