About the role

  • Create and structure clear, precise Instructions for Use (IFU) and product documentation for our hearing aid portfolio
  • Author and maintain IFUs and product documentation for hearing aid devices in structured DITA format
  • Structure and manage content models to support content reuse across product lines
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs Specialist/Product Specialist/Usability Specialist to ensure documentation compliance
  • Plan and deliver documentation projects aligned with product launches (twice a year)
  • Support colleagues in the DITA authoring and planning environment and act as a knowledge resource

Requirements

  • Have experience writing IFU or other regulated product documentation (medical devices, pharma, or similar industries)
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is required
  • Have a degree in technical communication, engineering, life sciences, journalism, or a related field
  • You are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a regulated, quality-focused environment
  • Experience with DITA XML or structured authoring — from any CCMS platform such as AEM Guides, MadCap Flare, or similar will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with content reuse strategies and information architecture principles will be an advantage
