About the role
- Drive micro‑mechanical development from concept to realization
- Create concepts and designs in 3D CAD
- Simulate on models and evaluate technical solutions with colleagues
- Build and test prototypes in our in‑house tool shop
- Follow your design all the way into ramp‑up and production in Poland or overseas
- Collaborate closely across Device HW, Device SW and other internal stakeholders
- Plan and execute design work, design reviews, specifications and documentation
- Provide guidance to colleagues and support daily planning activities
- Contribute to competence building and knowledge sharing within Mechanical Engineering
- Help improve internal processes within mechanical development
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experience in an R&D setup
- Proficiency with PTC Creo or similar 3D CAD tools
- Knowledge of robust design methods (tolerance stack‑ups, DFM, DFA)
- Experience with designing for injection molding
- Experience with co‑development with external partners, suppliers, and technology providers
- Ability to write clear and robust specifications, requirement documents, statements of work (SoW) and similar contractual engineering deliverables
