About the role

  • Responsible for processing and reviewing international cargo and managing booking transactions for a portfolio of clients
  • Supports the Manager in the ongoing development of existing and prospective Delmar customers
  • Communicate effectively with Delmar clients over the phone, in writing, and in person to maintain client satisfaction and meet company targets
  • Provide administrative support to the Freight Services team
  • Identify and respond to customer needs and requests
  • Proactively offer solutions, ideas, and insights to address customer issues and challenges
  • Conduct customer review calls as requested
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all products and services offered by Delmar

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of operations experience in the Freight Forwarding, specifically 3PL environment
  • Experience in Ocean, Air, Ground, Brokerage or Warehousing is considered an asset
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, International Transportation & Customs, or related field is considered an asset
  • Experience in CargoWise One system or related systems is considered an asset
  • Local travel may be required
