About the role

  • Lead the organization's technology strategy and procurement functions
  • Oversee development and implementation of innovative IT solutions
  • Manage vendor relationships and optimize procurement processes
  • Oversee selection, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and software
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal standards, and cybersecurity requirements
  • Manage budgets for IT and procurement
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team across IT and procurement departments
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to IT security and supply chain disruptions
  • Drive innovation by researching emerging technologies and market trends
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology and procurement needs
  • Travel up to 15%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in IT leadership and procurement management
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity, and infrastructure
  • Experience with strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and procurement processes
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and develop strategic solutions
  • PMP, CIPS, CISSP, or relevant IT and procurement certifications preferred
