About the role
- Act as a trusted legal partner to commercial and leadership teams across the region.
- Advise on a wide range of commercial matters, from customer and partner agreements to strategic initiatives.
- Draft, review and negotiate complex SaaS, licensing and enterprise contracts.
- Support go-to-market activity by enabling deals to move quickly while managing legal and regulatory risk.
- Build and refine scalable legal frameworks, templates and playbooks that support a growing organisation.
Requirements
- German-qualified lawyer with experience at a top-tier law firm, combined with in-house experience within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Experience negotiating commercial SaaS contracts in DACH region.
- Experience advising on privacy and data protection matters (including GDPR) and an understanding of legal issues arising from the use and deployment of AI technologies.
- Comfortable switching between high-level strategic advice and detailed, hands-on execution.
- Experience working across jurisdictions and with international teams.
- A collaborative team player with a positive outlook, good judgment.
- Pragmatic, commercially minded and confident operating in environments where pace and change are constants.
