General Counsel

• Lead the development of legal, compliance, and regulatory functions across the organisation
• Implement and refine the company’s MiCAR/DORA compliance strategy
• Act as the main liaison with local regulators and auditors, ensuring transparent, high-quality reporting
• Design and implement company policies across compliance, data protection, and data security
• Monitor evolving regulatory developments and ensure ongoing alignment with crypto-related frameworks
• Advise product and strategy teams on the regulatory implications of new features and services
• Manage licence applications and regulatory approvals where required

Senior Legal Counsel – Crypto

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including SaaS, vendor, and partnership agreements
• Advising the business on commercial and regulatory risks
• Supporting cross-functional teams on product launches, collaborations, and commercial initiatives
• Providing practical, business-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders
• Helping to develop and improve standard contracts and legal processes

Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial

• Provide legal guidance across Buena and its subsidiaries, covering corporate law, real estate, labor & employment, compliance, and data protection
• Develop policies and internal processes to embed strong governance and regulatory compliance
• Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of contracts (commercial, supplier, partnership, employment)
• Anticipate risks, advise senior leadership, and propose pragmatic solutions
• Manage and coordinate external counsel, ensuring quality and cost efficiency
• Support business teams with training and updates on legal and regulatory developments
• Contribute to Buena’s long-term legal strategy, including building and developing an internal legal team

Senior Legal Counsel – Multi-Disciplinary

• Design and implement scalable legal processes that support a high-growth environment
• Review and improve contract templates, policies, and internal workflows
• Oversee legal matters related to corporate law, labor law, data protection, and regulatory compliance
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise the business proactively
• Manage external legal advisors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality legal support
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including commercial, partnership, employment, and vendor agreements
