About the role
- Build Deel’s Reddit strategy from scratch and write the playbook
- Post AMAs, guides, discussion threads, memes, long-form content, and useful answers
- Serve as Deel’s voice in relevant subreddits: transparent, helpful, witty, non-corporate
- Monitor conversations about Deel and the industry and engage when appropriate
- Track Reddit trends, subreddit culture shifts, and in-jokes and react quickly
- Experiment with text posts, visuals, gifs, memes, and long-form content to find what works
- Measure engagement and iterate until Deel has a strong Reddit presence
- Avoid overt branded advertising and maintain authentic community relationships
Requirements
- Reddit power user with visible post history
- Ability to point to posts or communities you've helped grow
- Deep knowledge of Reddit culture, subreddit norms, and moderation rules
- Ability to switch tone across communities (snarky, thoughtful, meme)
- Strategic planning skills to map a long-term Reddit plan
- Willingness to engage in real-time (e.g., hop into threads at night)
- Commitment to authenticity and avoiding fake engagement
- Experience moderating or running a subreddit (preferred)
- Community management experience on other platforms (Discord, forums) (preferred)
- Experience at startups, B2B SaaS, HRTech, or FinTech (preferred)
- Authorization to work in your country of residence (application requires country and work authorization information)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently (application asks for English fluency)
