About the role

  • Lead the definition and implementation of the organization’s fundraising strategy
  • Develop, maintain and monitor the pipeline for national and international fundraising, public and private
  • Map funding opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and institutional priorities
  • Develop and keep updated a mapping of national and international calls for proposals
  • Actively prospect funders, strategic partners and cooperation opportunities
  • Support the establishment and management of relationship management routines with funders and institutional partners
  • Identify and participate in national and international events related to fundraising and strategic partnerships
  • Support the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams to enable submission of proposals to public and private calls for proposals, both national and international
  • Lead the drafting, review and submission of funding proposals in coordination with technical teams and institutional leadership
  • Track and record funder interactions, history and interests in the CRM
  • Monitor contracts and partnerships signed with funders, ensuring compliance with deadlines, deliverables and counterpart commitments
  • Maintain up-to-date tracking of deadlines, contractual milestones, deliverables and donation-related documentation
  • Maintain communication with donors, ensuring alignment, transparency and satisfaction with results
  • Support donor retention and renewal strategies for multi-year contracts
  • Support the preparation and review of narrative reports for funders
  • Support the finance team in consolidating and reviewing financial reports, ensuring adherence to contracts and consistency with narrative deliverables
  • Support audit processes and external reviews in coordination with the finance team
  • Support the development of communication products and content aimed at fundraising and maintaining the donor stewardship cycle
  • Support the development of institutional materials to position and strengthen the organization with strategic partners

Requirements

  • Proven prior experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, grant management or related areas in the nonprofit sector
  • Experience with public and private funding calls, national and/or international
  • Availability for national and international travel — a plus
  • Experience in the education sector — a plus
  • Experience with administrative and financial management of donations — a plus
  • Fluent English
