About the role
- Designing, administering and continuously optimizing the core infrastructure and the Linux systems landscape
- Integrating, further developing and optimizing the performance of existing system environments in our data centers — including monitoring and the creation of technical documentation
- Advising and supporting your colleagues and internal customers, e.g. during the rollout of new systems and solutions
- Participating in incident and service management — including ticket handling, fault analysis and sustainable problem prevention
Requirements
- Professional experience in Linux server environments — ideally with basic knowledge of RHEL, Ansible or other automation/orchestration tools and in containerization, OR professional experience with storage systems, VMware environments, Veeam Backup or operating infrastructure components in a multi-cloud environment
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable qualification
- High sense of responsibility and security awareness, strong self-initiative and a service-oriented working style
- Very good German language skills (C1) and good English skills
