About the role
- Provide administrative functions for the Corporate Operations department at Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC)
- Screen requests for information
- Provide authorized information from files and records
- Advise on established policies and procedures
- Assemble information and reports for internal and external correspondence
- Ensure uniformity is maintained between technical offices
- Maintain and revise office filing systems
- Edit technical reports, military handbooks, and administrative documents
- Produce and present reports and graphs
- Develop meeting agendas and presentations
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of administrative support experience
- Proficient in the use of office equipment including computers, scanners, fax, and copiers
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Teams), Microsoft Edge, and Adobe Acrobat
- Skilled with oral and written communications
- Well-developed time management and schedule coordination skills
- Ability to work professionally with individuals, diverse groups, and the public
