About the role

  • Research and identification of innovative and market-relevant research topics in the field of machine learning, as well as acquisition of new research partners and collaborations.
  • Research and identification of promising calls and announcements (national and international) in the areas of AI and ML.
  • Drafting project outlines and proposals, including developing technical approaches, project planning, and go-to-market perspectives.
  • Collaborating with our ML scientists to understand client needs and define research areas based on them.
  • Supporting the strategic direction of the company.
  • Designing technical concepts and project proposals for our industrial and public-sector projects.

Requirements

  • You are studying a scientific or technical subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a business-related field like Business Informatics, Business Administration (BWL), or similar.
  • You have a strong enthusiasm for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and want to drive innovative research in this area.
  • Advantageous but not required: You have initial theoretical or practical experience implementing ML algorithms or using ML frameworks, for example through a university project.
  • You can translate technical and complex concepts into clear, understandable language.
  • You work independently and in a structured way, with strong analytical ability and a proactive mindset and a drive to contribute.
  • Your German language skills are at least C1 level and you have very good written communication skills.
