Business Development Rep

• Achieve daily contact goals along with monthly Qualified Sales Meetings and quality meetings that translate into estimate-stage pipeline
• Collaborate effectively with ‘internal end clients’ - field sales representatives
• Deliver key promotional messages to a sophisticated target audience, primarily through telephone contact in addition to emails
• Create and manage large pipelines of prospective opportunities and report on pipeline progress in review meetings with management
• Conduct virtual demonstrations of the DatasiteOne platform and related functionality to prospective clients
• Periodically travel into assigned geographic territories to conduct target account reviews, quarterly business reviews and attend client meetings to deliver the Datasite value proposition (approximately 15% of the time)
• Engage with Datasite’s Sales Enablement team to become trained and certified on Datasite's products
• Maintain accurate records of all call activity in CRM system (SalesForce) that includes call information, sales leads and customer profiles correctly and accurately in a timely manner
• Work closely with the wider Marketing team, Sales and Product development to develop a better understanding of our target markets’ needs, as well as key competitor strengths and weaknesses
• Develop a high level of market, industry and role knowledge to enable peer-to-peer conversations and understand customer needs and requirements
• Build rapport and relationships with internal and external customers through prompt, courteous, efficient and professional service

• Own the entire sales process for the largest, highest value Private Equity firms
• Carry out extended, multithreaded sales cycles with key decision makers at these companies including C-Suite level contacts
• Build out, iterate, and refine an enterprise sales motion
• Use your knowledge of the industry, competitive environment, and client experiences to identify trends and stay ahead of customer needs
