About the role
- Define and own Sherpany’s AI technical vision and drive strategy across the product
- Shape scalable AI platform architecture and ensure robust, secure solutions
- Lead design and optimization of on-prem AI systems, maintaining data privacy and compliance
- Guide engineering teams with clear technical direction and best practices
- Stay ahead of emerging AI technologies and apply them to solve real business problems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering and go-to-market teams to deliver impactful AI solutions
Requirements
- 8+ years in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in architectural or principal-level roles
- Deep expertise in Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, vector databases and orchestration frameworks
- Experience with secure AI deployments and compliance-driven environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus for future initiatives
