About the role

  • Implementation and operation of OpenShift environments and IBM OpenShift-based platforms
  • Support in designing and deploying customer-specific OpenShift platforms
  • Handover of platforms into production operation to the client and the in-house operations team
  • Close collaboration with DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams
  • Preparation of technical documentation

Requirements

  • Knowledge of IBM OpenShift and Kubernetes
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK)
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of networking and security concepts
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Ability to analyze requirements
  • Ideally Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
  • ITIL knowledge, preferably with an ITIL Foundation certification
