About the role
- After a comprehensive onboarding period, you will be responsible for ensuring system availability for our customers
- Analyze and resolve operational incidents via the ticketing system
- Administration of server infrastructures (servers, network, backup, firewall, Microsoft SQL Server databases, virtualized environments)
- Communication and coordination of technical tasks with the customers' IT contacts
- Creation of operational documentation in our ITSM tool
- Proactively incorporate technological innovations and insights
Requirements
- Successfully completed IT apprenticeship or equivalent professional experience (e.g., IT Specialist – System Integration)
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft product suite such as Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DFS
- Basic knowledge in areas such as Microsoft clustering and VMware
- Enjoyment of automating and optimizing operational processes
- Fluent German (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a solution- and customer-oriented working style
