About the role

  • Primary point of contact for system monitoring
  • 1st and 2nd level support, as well as troubleshooting of physical network infrastructure
  • On-site support for network systems
  • System testing of network systems
  • Contact person for external service providers and suppliers, including knowledge transfer
  • Coordination of network-related activities with local business contacts
  • Technical contact for network upgrades and maintenance
  • Coordination of WiFi AP changes and installations
  • Patching of network equipment
  • Network updates (line card replacements or switch stacking)
  • Documentation of the local network infrastructure

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in IT
  • Good knowledge of hardware components in network engineering (copper cabling, fiber optics, connectors, installation & replacement)
  • Basic knowledge of network technologies (Wireless, DHCP/IPAM, Firewall)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Conscientious, proactive and results-oriented working style
