About the role
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on AWS
- Define and evolve the organization’s cloud platform strategy and standards
- Build and maintain reusable platform services (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure templates, observability etc.)
- Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Establish best practices for cloud governance, security, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to enable self-service platforms
- Architect multi-account, multi-region AWS environments
- Drive automation across provisioning, deployment, and operations
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
Requirements
- 15-20 Years of Experience
- 8+ Years in AWS & Devops
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, EKS, etc.)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Expertise in Control Tower, Landing zone, Multi Account AWS Governance & Platform Support
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Familiarity with cost optimization and FinOps practices
