Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
Lift containers (up to 50 lbs) and push/pull carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
Maintain inventory of containers and ensure all areas are stocked and organized.
Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; overtime opportunities as needed.
Travel to serve hospitals in Dubuque, Waterloo, and Cedar Rapids, IA.
Requirements
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and active, on-the-go work.
Ability to lift containers (up to 50 lbs) and push/pull carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
Strong attention to detail—especially with paperwork and procedures.
Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout Illinois.
Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role preferred.
COVID-19 vaccination required due to hospital access.
MUST be able to work in: Dubuque, Waterloo, and Cedar Rapids, IA.
