Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Danaher’s enterprise-wide Data & AI Platform, aligning with business objectives and growth initiatives
Design and deliver an AI platform that accelerates research, new product development, and enhances existing products and processes; enforces best practices for data governance, quality, security, and compliance by design; and drives adoption of advanced AI/ML methodologies and data analytics through a self-service sandbox for data scientists and engineers across the organization
Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating and integrating cutting-edge technologies to maintain a state-of-the-art AI platform that gives Danaher a competitive edge
Build and mentor a high-performing team of Cloud, ML/AI, and Data architects, engineers, and scientists
Foster a culture of technical rigor, continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation within the team and across Danaher’s technology community
Develop strategic partnerships with key vendors and partners to leverage external expertise and solutions for internal tooling

Requirements

An advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related technical field
10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on data engineering, AI/ML and software architecture and design
5+ years in a leadership role focused on data and AI platforms
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), integrators (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) and their data and AI services
Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to build consensus, lead, and inspire cross-functional teams in a complex environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
