About the role
- Lead the development of end-of-line (EOL) test sequences for electric motor systems using the proprietary ODIN software platform.
- Apply advanced diagnostic expertise within ODIN to quickly identify and resolve issues during prototype and production testing at Dana TM4 in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada, as well as at Dana's international sites.
- Provide real-time technical support for production and prototype testing, ensuring EOL procedures are validated and meet the requirements of engineering teams and Canadian customers.
- Perform advanced data analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting of inverter systems, ensuring compliance with time-sensitive delivery commitments to Canadian customers.
- Customize and optimize ODIN test sequences for different product lines, ensuring conformity with company and customer specifications.
- Use proprietary knowledge of the secure XCP communication protocol to deploy, maintain, and upgrade systems across multiple Dana divisions and customer programs.
- Train and mentor engineers and technicians on ODIN-based EOL test sequences, transferring DANA TM4’s in-house process expertise.
- Collaborate with international teams (China, India, Europe, United States) to develop, standardize, and globally deploy test sequences, ensuring consistency across plants.
- Work with Canadian project managers, quality teams, and customers to validate technical solutions, align on engineering requirements, and ensure operational continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in the design and implementation of production test procedures for electric motors.
