About the role

  • Work as a member of the corporate logistics team in our sourcing department
  • Manage relationships with our freight services suppliers, including freight forwarding and customs brokerage
  • Assist our U.S. factories with imports, exports, and trade compliance needs
  • Work with our international subsidiaries on their imports
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Interact with internal customers and external vendors via phone, email, and meetings
  • Develop skills in prioritizing, problem solving, and strategic thinking
  • Analyze data to support initiatives and improve processes

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in International Business, Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field
  • In their sophomore or junior year of school
  • Maintain an acceptable GPA (preference to 2.5 GPA or greater)
  • Ability to travel by air and ground
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Meet and maintain Daktronics Driving Eligibility Requirements
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible, organized, and team player
  • Microsoft office experience preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills, including professional telephone skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
