About the role
- Review potential syndication targets and collaborate with Fleet Credit to assess financial performance and delinquency risk
- Partner with Fleet Workout to evaluate payment relief requests and ensure adherence to Master Assignment Agreements and Specification documents
- Conduct detailed credit analysis for Corporate and Dealer syndicated transactions, applying strong financial, collateral, and legal documentation expertise
- Manage relationships with banks, insurance companies, and lending partners
- Ensure timely delivery of syndication requirements, interpret credit agreements, and support long‑term engagement with existing participants while identifying and recruiting new ones
- Maintain accurate reporting and transaction records, including principal and interest activity
- Partner with internal DTFS teams and syndicate participants to ensure timely and accurate settlement processes
- Support negotiation of credit agreements to ensure alignment with participant expectations and legal requirements
- Engage lenders on potential portfolio sales, negotiate rates and terms, and discuss financial performance of sold portfolios
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in credit, lending operations, or syndicated finance
- Strong credit background in both Fleet Credit (corporate) and Dealer Credit (wholesale)
- Ability to interpret and navigate credit agreements, legal documentation, and syndication requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for lender, partner, and internal stakeholder interactions
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence terms, rates, and deal structures
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and record-keeping capabilities
- Ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams and external lending partners
